Our Jeep Safari offers an exhilarating off-road experience through Crete’s most spectacular landscapes. Choose between private or shared tours, both featuring luxury vehicles equipped with all necessary amenities including towels, water, and beach towels for your comfort. Pick-up and drop-off are provided directly from your villa.

Private safari itinerary

Your adventure begins with pick-up from your villa. The first stop is the historic Arkadi Monastery, a powerful symbol of the Cretan revolution, where you will learn about its significance from your professional guide.

The journey continues off-road to Potamon Dam, where breathtaking panoramic views reward the rugged drive. You will then explore the Saint Antonios Gorge, discovering a hidden temple carved into the rock.

A stop in the traditional village of Spili follows, famous for its lion-head fountains where fresh spring water flows. Here you can wander and absorb authentic Cretan village life.

Lunch is served at a local taverna in a traditional village, offering genuine Cretan flavors in a warm, welcoming setting. After lunch, the route continues through Moundros Gorge with a stop at a natural spring for rest and photography.

The highlight of the day is Preveli Beach, where you will spend one hour and forty-five minutes at this unique location where a river meets the sea, creating a tropical landscape with palm trees. Access to the beach requires a walking trail, though those unable to walk for health reasons can swim at the vehicle stopping point.

On the return journey, a brief stop at Kourtaliotiko Gorge allows approximately fifteen minutes to absorb the dramatic scenery. Before returning to your villa, a final stop at the Three Monasteries viewpoint offers panoramic views of Rethymno and a small surprise of local treats, providing one last taste of authentic Crete.
